For the last couple of years I've been giving a talk to high school students called "What Taylor Swift can teach us about Cybersecuirty" and it seems to go down incredibly well. At Cygenta, we love being able to give back to communities and raise awareness of cybersecurity issues and careers, and so I've given this talk to schools as part of the NCSC's Cyber Schools Hub, for the Scottish Christmas Cyber Lectures 2018, for Cheltenham Science Festival 2017 and to many schools in the UK independently.

I've been meaning to share the slides for a while and seeing this article in The Guardian prompted me to see if others might find them useful.

I've used the presentation with teenagers from age 13 / 14 upwards. I'd be very happy for people to use the content to spread cybersecurity messages and raise awareness of the great careers available in this industry. If you could attribute me / Cygenta, that would be much appreciated and I would love to know if you find the content useful for your audience.

I've taken a few things out of the slide deck here, including my introduction and conclusion as these are going to be personal to the presenter and the specific aims and context of the presentation. I also generally use a couple of slides that are more commercial to Cygenta towards the end of the presentation, which I've taken out as well.

The slides are available on SlideShare.
